M&S Exmouth

Kilo worked closely with Exmouth Town Council to deliver a new M&S Food Hall on a brownfield site adjacent to the town railway station. The site was challenging due to its proximity to the estuary which is an SSSI. A complex solution was found to meet the requirements of  Natural England, the Environment Agency and local planning and highway authorities. A new pedestrian access and relocated bus stops have created a prominent store less than 5 minutes’ walk from the town centre with excellent vehicular and public transport access.

The scheme was sold, post completion, to private investors.
